HOW TO SHARED FILES IN GOOGLE DRIVE COMPUTERTICKS

To share files in Google Drive, follow these steps:

Upload a file: If the file you want to share isn't already in your Google Drive, upload it by clicking the "+ New" button in the top-left corner of the Google Drive interface. Then select "File Upload" and select a file from your computer.

Select File: Find the file you want to share in your Google Drive. Click on a file to select it. The file should be highlighted.

Open Sharing Settings: Right-click the selected file (or click the vertical ellipsis icon next to the file name) and select "Share" from the dropdown menu. Alternatively, you can click the "Share" button in the top-right corner of the Google Drive interface.

Set sharing permissions: In the Sharing Settings window, you can specify who you want to share the file with and what level of access they have. There are three main options:

"Specific People": Enter the email addresses of the individuals you want to share the file with. You can choose whether they have "View," "Comment," or "Edit" access to the file.

"Anyone with a link": This option allows anyone with a link to access the file. You can choose whether they have "View," "Comment" or "Edit" access.

"Closed": This option restricts access to the file only for you.

Customize access settings (optional): By clicking the small pencil icon next to email address or link access, you can further customize permissions, such as allowing or denying the ability to share files with others, or giving access only to specific individuals. .

Send Invitation: Once you have set the desired sharing permissions, click the "Send" button. An email notification will be sent to the people you invited, giving them access to the file.

That's it! The file is now shared, and recipients can access it according to the permissions you set. You can manage and modify the sharing settings at any time by accessing the sharing settings again for the file.
